Musical reflections
Music & photos by Margarita Ignatova
I write music grown from life -
and all that moves silently behind it.
night transforming the chaos of the day into a harmonious breath of wind

In my work, I reflect impressions of both external and internal realities, ranging from the horrifying manifestations of wars, through the personal experience of forced emigration, to the breathtaking beauty of nature and human relationships built on thoughtful love.
I am deeply interested in the transformation everyone faces on their journey—whether it is destruction, preservation, or the search for new values, human connections, and a sense of home. Many people are currently experiencing this painful and enriching process of adaptation. Perhaps my musical reflections on emotions and meanings will resonate with someone. Music has the power to heal and comfort, to pose new questions and open new doors. It helps us find the strength to move forward through the daily challenges of life, to discover a unique pattern of beauty within the chaos, and to counteract darkness through creative expression. It allows us to fill the time we have left with light, gratitude, and warmth.
Engagement with new music—its beauty and purity—is as essential to people as water, the starry sky, and the fresh forest air.
